Hillery Allen Barrow

 Every memory I can recall is filled with a strong sense of awareness and curiosity of my visual surroundings. I am constantly drawn to the choreographically contrasts of light and color and how it portrays in the world we see. I create art to capture this view and feed my never-ending curiosity of our visual world.

Current Work

I have paintings for sale at various businesses in Thomasville, Georgia. You can see them at Thomasville Humane, Savannah Moon Restaurant & Bakery and my home studio.

Commissions

I am currently accepting painting commissions. I have been commissioned to paint just about everything: from giant murals (Mullet Fish Mural on Harper’s Seafood) to small landscapes and many many pet portraits in-between (disclosure: I charge extra for human portraits). Art Classes & Paint Parties

Talent, in my opinion, is achieved not by being born but by learning, trying, making (many) mistakes, and passionately never giving up (even after quitting). With that being said, I love to teach art classes to make art as accessible (and fun) to everyone as it was for me. Education

If you are still reading this then I have to commend you for your interest! I took many art classes when I was young and I promise you I wasn't that great! I really learned to refine my skills and dedication for art at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fine Arts and also with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (the latter is really my fall back in case you don’t buy my art).
